Rehearsals for AnimAlphabet starting

Tomorrow we start rehearsing AnimAlphabet The Musical at South Hill Park Very exciting times. Today will consist of making trees, a jazz trumpet and a ghetto blaster.

Finance News - We received the ACE Lottery funding we hoped for which was a huge relief. This combined with the Just Giving (now up to £905), a private donation, other fund raising, money we all put in at the start plus ticket sales from our shows formed the financial plan to create an AnimAlphabet The Musical for all. We are really excited that 2 of our 4 shows @southhillpark 8/9 July will include a relaxed and a signed performance.

AnimAlphabet The Musical - Disability and Accessibility

It's early stages but a great idea that will hopefully develop over time. The AnimAlphabet team have been exploring and practicing some early fun ideas with disability awareness training providers Beans Training Ltd. We hope the affiliation will set up some signed performances of AnimAlphabet The Musical, and therefore providing a wider reach in accessibility.

Sun 9th July at 11am is a relaxed autism friendly performance (a quieter show with less special effects and loud noises)
Sun 9th July at 2pm is a signed performance (suitable for all, just with the addition of a BSL interpreter for people who are deaf or have hearing difficulties)

Fundraising has already payed for costumes...

Thank you for all your help so far, we are nearly at a 1/3 of our target and the money raised so far has paid for the material for all the costumes.
